“Let’s Be Real describes how I feel about relationships. Friends, family, boyfriends, it doesn’t matter…I believe that being open and honest and real is the best way to deal with the people that surround us. And that’s not always easy…”

Kenady Sean has been writing songs and performing since she could walk and talk. If you’ve ever seen her on stage in numerous musical theater productions its evident how comfortable she is and how much she enjoys entertaining an audience. Over the past few years she’s gotten more passionate about her songwriting and discovered the thrill of performing her own songs and seeing the impact she can have on the audience as she shares the joys and struggles of her own experience.

“I will always love the theater but there is something incredible and kinda scary and humbling about being myself in front of an audience. Not acting, just being me and being honest about whatever I’m going through.”

Her desire to be real is most passionately reflected in her relationship with her creator and her songs are just snapshots of how God is molding and shaping her on the ever-changing journey of life.

“I sing to bring glory to my creator and I create songs only because He created me first.”

When she’s not writing or performing, Kenady is a junior at Dallas Baptist University studying Music Business.
